You need an email server running locally to send the email out on your local
box. Find a freeware email server for Win32 and you should be ok. I use
ArGoSoft Mail server on my Win2K machine. Check out:

However; when running apache and mysql servers in my local win32 machine,
but
still connected through my dial up to the isp, when I run that same email
routine locally, it crashes..
What am I missing? How can I send email out of my locally run program, the
same
as it does when it's on the isp site.
