If you have PHP & PWS running on 98 then you're quite correct you do not
need Apache. You only require one or the other.
But, speaking from experience, even though Apache is perhaps not quite as
friendly, it more than makes up for it in power and features. The other
thing to consider is that dipping your toes in on the Windows version will
help you greatly if you ever move to a Unix type environment.
