Despite that, having used both ASP and PHP, PHP is better. It isn't
restrictive e.g. licensing etc., its intuitive, its free, you can develop
using an editor instead of an IDE, so your programming from the start and
not learning the IDE. It has more db support. You don't need to run it on a
microsoft IIS machine, always a bonus, its more portable, i.e. it can run on
IIS, you can write 'transactions' without the need for MTS, again bonus.
Get yourself a Linux dist install it, install MySQL, install Apache with
php3 support and your off.
Bill isn't getting any dollars.
