Chris Cameron:
I've recently switched from Windows to Linux, and am working on porting my scripts, and I've come across a bit of a pickle. Before when I used the mail() command under windows, it used my localhost mailserver to send mail, which worked fine. But it seems now that under linux it's specifically trying to use sendmail to send the email. I have qmail installed, and am wondering whether I can just stick in the Qmail path in the .ini where it says "sendmail_path".For qmail, you probably already have a wrapper to emulate sendmail using qmail (err, that sounds weird). Nevertheless, we use qmail and we have ours set to `/usr/sbin/sendmail -t' Try just setting it to that and it *should* work. At least ours does. Do a `locate sendmail' and see what you can find. Brian
