This sounds very strange indeed. Are you making sure that you call
session_start() at the beginning of every page (unless you've used the
autostart feature, dunno if this works correctly though) and passing the
SID along with the URL? (in case the browser doesn't support cookies or
have 'em disabled).
This would be typical if the SID doesn't get passed correctly I guess,
because then PHP will assume there's no active session and create a new
one, try echoing session_id() on each page, to make sure that it gets
passed along correctly. and add the SID to every url.. It's a macro, if the
browser supports cookies it'll be empty and if not it will be set to
'PHPSESSID=...etc' or whatever session identifier name you've choosen.
