Just remember that the macro SID should be a null string of your browser has cookies enables (since then the session id is passed using them instead of in the query string). and session_id() always contains a session id after session_start(), you just have to make sure it stays the same troughout the session, otherwize something has gone wrong with the passing of the session id.
