hi,
have phpMyAdmin now up and running, and have to say a BIG thanks to all.
Have discovered, that a user phpadmin is not possible. Maybe, that is a
used keyword ?
Anyway, after changing the user from phpadmin to a common name like
girlie as an authoritative user phpMyAdmin started successful.
But have 2 questions now :
1.) how can I create a database with phpMyAdmin ?
The only thing I can see is on the left side the databases created
manual and the "standard-databases"
looks like that :
Home
+mydb
+mysql
+hans
+test
and on the right side I have this :
Welcome to phpMyAdmin 2.0.5
MySQL 3.22.27 running on localhost
Log out
phpMyAdmin-Homepage
phpMyAdmin Documentation
that's all.
Now - how is it possible to create databases or where I have to tweak
phpMyAdmin for doing so ?
2:)
after trying to "Log out"
I get a "Authorization failed". Have declared an authorized user and an
authorized passwd in config.inc.php3
That is unlogical for me, because if I have a real Authorization failer,
then it should not be possible to login. Or am I wrong here ?
The release I have installed : phpMyAdmin_2.0.5.tar.gz. Was the latest,
I have seen.
Any suggestions for that ?
Thanks in advance
