I've got a page protected by .htaccess and would like
to remember the user name for the following pages. I
don't think php is installed as a module on my server
(hosting with pair.com) and understand it would need
to be for me to access the $PHP_AUTH_USER variable?
A "phpinfo" page for my configuration is up here:
http://scs.no/test.php3
I don't mind passing variables in the URL, but how
can I get to it (the user variable that is)?
Any help appreciated,
Randi
This is what I'm trying to do:
1)Password protect the "members of the choir"-page
(works now by using .htaccess and group)
2)-let the members go to the repertoire page and
choose what voice they sing on different songs,
Alto 1, Alto 2, Soprano etc. without having to
state who they are again.
