Here what I get: Kernel IP routing table Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref Use Iface 199.34.58.0 * 255.255.255.0 U 0 0 0 eth0 127.0.0.0 * 255.0.0.0 U 0 0 0 lo default 199.34.58.7 0.0.0.0 UG 0 0 0 eth0 If thids doesn't work I will hit the manuals a secomnd time, although I admit my first time browsing through the extensive documentation on ethernet devices and network administration had made me a bit flummoxed.
