: I've a couple of clients still on PHP3 (2 of 5), for them i write an
include:
:
: if (! function_exists('array_pop'))
: include('libphp4.php3');
:
: libphp4.php3 fakes the missing functions where possible .
Wow, didn't know there was such a thing. And after I've done so much slick
little creation :) I assume some of the biggies like Sessions isn't in
there right? So far one of my main additions to make my php3 code more
functional is class related -- since I don't have get_class(), I'll add it
explicitly in my constructor ($this->Set("_Class", "Thingy") and then
$this->Get("_Class")). I'm sure others will pop up.
I always tend to wonder how backward's compatible I should be. I see some
stuff that I wanted to use on my site or scripts I installed that was PHP4
only or I had to rewrite to make it PHP3 compatible. Just wanted to make
sure I wasn't the last PHP3 user out there :)
