just got a brainstorm and noticed that phpinfo(); has a little tiny blurb at the top that says: Configuration Configure command: ./configure '--with-mysql' '--with-apache=../apache' php3.ini file path is set to: /usr/local/lib so, making a slight modification [root=pts/1]3:04pm@content:{/usr/local/lib}> ln -vs /etc/php3.ini . [root=pts/1]3:05pm@content:{/usr/local/lib}> /www/bin/apachectl stop /www/bin/apachectl stop: httpd stopped [root=pts/1]3:05pm@content:{/usr/local/lib}> /www/bin/apachectl start /www/bin/apachectl start: httpd started and I'm up and running... My question is, why /usr/local/lib/php3.ini and not /etc/php3.ini as I thought has been the case, at least, that's where I've always had it... luckily I did notice --with-config-file-path=PATH is an option when I compile again. > -----Original Message----- > From: Daevid Vincent [mailto:DayWalker@thematrix.com] > Sent: Wednesday, July 19, 2000 7:53 PM > To: phplist > Subject: [PHP] v3.0.16 upload_max_filesize not working? > > > I have set this in my php3.ini file (and of course restarted the server): > > ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; > ; Paths and Directories ; > ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; > include_path = ; UNIX: "/path1:/path2" Windows: > "\path1;\path2" > doc_root = ; the root of the php pages, used > user_dir = ; the directory under which php op > extension_dir = ./ ; directory in which the loadable > extensio > ;upload_tmp_dir = ; temporary directory for > HTTP uploaded > files (will use sy > ; one meg == 1048576 == (1024^2) > upload_max_filesize = 10485760 ; 10 Meg limit on file uploads > > however, when I try to upload a large file I get this error: > > Warning: Max file size of 2097152 bytes exceeded - file [UploadedFile] not > saved in /www/html/client/download/daevid/index.phtml on line 0 > > Do I need to do something else to get rid of that 2MB limit?
