trans-sid option

Hi,
I`m running Apache 1.3.12 PHP 4.0.1pl2 on Linux and have the trans-sid
option enabled.
With static pages it works.... but with links to page.php?varname=val pages
I get something like that:
page.php?varname=&PHPSESSID=ff4a9f42adc000bc273d4f22f5aaaae5val and my PHP
pages don`t work properly anymore....
What to do???????
