Re: Missing function?

Following Sterling's advice, I DL'd the latest PHP release, detarred it, config, make, make install, and restarted apache, but my system is still running the old version. What am I missing here? Do I need to recompile apache as well? If so, can anyone point me to the config values that would have been used on RH6.1 out of the box?
