This is JavaScript, but it is one of the best implementations of a
"walking menu" that I have yet seen, thanks for pointing it out
(there are freeware versions out there, but the ones I've seen only
go one level deep). This menus format will be familiar to anyone
who (like me) still uses the OpenLook X window manager that comes with
Sun's OpenWindows. I agree that it is an awesome way to navigate.
Sadly, their source is largely hidden away in files that can not be
downloaded for inspection -- unless someone out there knows of a
work-around 8^). It ought to be fairly strightforward to download
them, but I don't have the time just now. I'd been hoping to find
just such an implementation for quite some time...
