Hi -
I am looking at wrapping php around a search engine (probably one of
the above) that will be indexing local text files (which if necessary
I could index through a web server) and was wondering if anyone had
any experiences with the above? I've seen the article on devshed
about htdig.
Basically rather than install them all and benchmark them I was
wondering if anyone could share which one performs the best.
For my specific case, I would imagine about a maximum of 50,000
documents, all text files, no more than 10K each. Once indexed, they
would never need to be re-indexed (ie, they won't change).
Suggestions?
Thanks!
