Hello.
Where can I find more info on calling PHP from an HTML page?
I've got an HTML page out there with a link on it that reads:
<A HREF="http://www.someplace.com?id=1">Go to
someplace</A>
I then want to store the ID to a variable, cookie, or MySQL database.
Preferably the latter.
The problem is, someplace.com doesn't have PHP. An HTML page on
someplace.com would have to call a script on my server to set a cookie or
something so that whoever clicks on the link above is tracked on
something.com's site.
So, the problem I can't solve is how to call a PHP script and send the
output to an HTML file somewhere else.
I need more reading material than I've been able to find on php.net and in
the book "Professional PHP Programming." Can someone help with a snippet of
code or a pointer to more reading material?
Thanks in advance,
Murph
