Check out the manual's documentation for comparison operators for starters:
http://www.php.net/manual/en/language.operators.comparison.php
Then, write some simple scripts to play around:
<?
$var1 = 15;
$var2 = 30;
if($var1 < $var2)
{
echo "var1 is less than var2";
}
else
{
echo "var1 is greater than var2";
}
?>
After reading though the manual above, you could then change the "<" to ==,
===, <=, >=, !=, !==, <>, etc, and play around with the $var1 and $var 2
values to understand what's going on.
