One thing to note is that this has nothing to do with Fusebox, or PHP or Coldfusion as much as the webserver. We employ this same technique, but it does not work under Windows (Apache or IIS) because of the way the Windows file system calls work. Whoops - sorry. If the Fusebox code is operating under a 404 error page assumption that could be made to work.
