You're right, this is something I forgot to mention. Homesite is a Windows
based editor. I know many developers have been pushing for a Linux version.
The problem is that since Homesite is written in Delphi, it can't be ported
to other platforms without writing it from scratch. Although, the rumor is
that Borland or whoever owns Delphi is planning to port Delphi to Linux. So
if this happens, Im sure Allaire will make Homesite available to the Linux
Community.
Actually, this and Photoshop is the only reason why I still use Windows
(2000 which I've found stable) as my primary worksation.

It's a pity that among all the numerous exchanges on this topic, no one
ever seems to mention the platform that their tool of choice runs on.
This should be part of al such communications. All of the editors
I've seen discussed thus far are binary-only, commercial, and
PC-specific.
