You need to load the overrides file and check. See how generator does it. But it won't tell you the parameters for overriden functions, since those are done in C. You need to check the actual implementation or ask me. GtkDialog constructor is somewhat complicated..
You can check http://pygtk.org/pygtk2reference/class-gtkdialog.html#constructor-gtkdialog since that's basically what I did.

Again me,
If found the problem to the missing constructor docs:
Have a look at gtk.defs#4943
=================
(define-function gtk_dialog_new
(is-constructor-of "GtkDialog")
(c-name "gtk_dialog_new")
(caller-owns-return #t)
(return-type "GtkWidget*")
)
(define-function gtk_dialog_new_with_buttons
(is-constructor-of "GtkDialog")
(c-name "gtk_dialog_new_with_buttons")
(caller-owns-return #t)
(return-type "GtkWidget*")
(parameters
'("const-gchar*" "title" (default "NULL") (null-ok))
'("GtkWindow*" "parent" (default "NULL") (null-ok))
'("GtkDialogFlags" "flags")
'("const-gchar*" "first_button_text" (default "NULL") (null-ok))
)
(varargs #t)
)
==================
docgen uses the first one as constructor, so there are no parameters
generated.
Now php-gtk seems to take the second one as constructor, and has parameters.
How can I distinguish between "normal" constructors and such overridden
ones?
