No, the new docs (which you get when checking out php-gtk-doc) are based on the php-gtk2 sources. A script called docgen uses the .defs files to generate them. Some methods in the .defs are not available in php-gtk2, and some which are available are not in the .defs... So there are indeed some problems, but most functions should be covered.
I didn't check out php-gtk-doc but was using the website gtk.php.net/manual/ . Is based on the new docgen? thanks, - Markus
