I find it much easier to just delete the directory and copy the original
source to new one again:
#!/bin/sh
rm -rf ~/php-gtk-sandbox
cp -R ~/php-gtk ~/php-gtk-sandbox
But of course, I didn't know about make clean-cache etc. until now ;)
