Why does that need a script? *confused* When you roll a distro, you can put whatever you like in the tarball...

'packaging script'? What's that?

Andrei wanted to generate the gen_*.c files once and for all, and package that with the alpha release so that the end-users don't have to do that everytime; since we're not going to be adding any new overrides anyway. That should reduce the build time for those using the alpha release. This is how I see it, hope I'm right. Regards, - Anant
