Andrei, hi, I think you'll find Unix also suffers from the bugginess in the filechooser widgets... it's not windows-only code. The Dmitry problem's likely to end up in your lap I'm afraid, but I'll get back to you on that when I've run some tests and can explain better. I think I agree about leaving Scintilla out of alpha. In fact I'd say just stick with libglade for now - I've hit problems with porting gtksourceview. Still don't understand this packaging business, but as Anant says, I'm more than prepared to leave that to the master :) - Steph
I'd be inclined to leave Scintilla out of alpha release. Windows issues I can't say much about because I am on Unix platform exclusively. Packaging script should be very easy to modify, so it's not an obstacle. -Andrei On May 3, 2006, at 5:42 AM, Scott Mattocks wrote:
I haven't nagged about this in a while and I don't want everyone to think I don't care anymore :) Anyway, where do we stand on the alpha release? I think the patches are all set, so that leaves three things: 1) Scintilla 2) Windows issues 3) Packaging script I am in no position to say one scintilla is better than the other, nor can I really help with the Windows issues. So that leaves the packaging script. What is it? What is wrong with it? How can I help fix it?
