Hi Marc, One problem is with GtkSpell. If confgure --with-spell I have this error on a GtkTextView widget ; I have this error for a long time now, so I can't use GtkSpell widget. Fatal error: Call to undefined method GtkSpell::get_end_iter() in /home/marc/.../IspMonitor.php on line 426 I think you are trying to call the get_end_iter() method on a GtkSpell object instead of the GtkTextBuffer: $x = new GtkTextBuffer(); $y = new GtkTextView($x); $s = new GtkSpell($y); You would call get_end_iter() on $x, not $s: $x->get_end_iter(); The GtkSpell widget does *not* extend a GtkTextView or GtkTextBuffer, unlike GtkSourceView; it merely attaches itself to a GtkTextView.yes, this is what I intend to do. I don't know how to reproduce this bug, but when I create a GtkTextview widget with glade in my ispMonitor projet, GtkTextview->get_buffer() return a GtkSpell widget. So I have created a small glade project very similar to mine, but I can't reproduce this. So I have don't this to force GtkTextBuffer at initialisation : $this->textview_log->set_buffer(new GtkTextBuffer());
