Thanks Marc for the detailed info. Take a fresh CVS checkout and confirm
that the bug is fixed now. I ran your script and $test = 1 gives me:
buffer class = GtkTextBuffer.
..amidst a few GObject assertion errors, ignore those for now ;).
Upstream GtkSpell doesn't provide a GType for the widget, we have to
find some way to work around that.
