this is not a glade problem, because, I have same problem here with this
code.
http://php.pastebin.com/929589
you can run this test script and change $test to 1,2 or 3.
1 - is how to use GtkSpell,
2 - is how to create standard GtkTextview ; $textview->get_buffer() should
return a GtkTextbuffer
widget class, but returns an instance of GtkSpell,
3 - is a way to override this bug.
So :
- it is a bug ; should not replace a textbuffer with a GtkSpell instance
- it's normal way to proceed and GtkSpell should inherit from
GtkTextbuffer, not GtkTextview.
That's very odd, since gtkspell is supposed to ATTACH itself to a gtktextview - not extend it - so gtkspell should probably not inherit from anything - which may be a pain because it does not have it's own gtype
