S> Just a thought S> - Steph It is not that simple, one of the errors is expecting a pixmap for the mask which is a bitmap (php complains not gdk). Fixing that was easy by changing the defs. The other problem is that the pixmap doesn't have a colour depth of 1 (16 I think it was) so you can't simply change it to a bit map, hence the copy pixel by pixel. Doing it this way keeps the php side simple to use. The code I gave needs to go into the overides file as long as it works under linux. -- regards, Tom
