Hi, First I want to say that I am completely new to php, php-Gtk and my english are not so good. You are making a very nice tool. With a few lines of code I was able to get data from oracle or mysql database. I'm very much interested for this kind of applications. Checking Christian's demos installed with gnope, I saw that in trees and lists (Demo list and StockItemBrowserDemo list), if I start typing, a small window appears with the typed characters, like I am editing the cell. If this is the way to edit list cells (I noticed that even in toggle cells happens the same) allow me to say that this is not a convenient way for end users. //--------------------- I tried to make a form with list with an editable column like this: $cell_renderer = new GtkCellRendererText(); $cell_renderer->mode = Gtk::CELL_RENDERER_MODE_EDITABLE; $cell_renderer->connect('edited', array($this, 'descrEdited')); $column = new GtkTreeViewColumn('title', $cell_renderer, "text", 1); $Tree->append_column($column); but setting the mode to editable like above, doesn't seem to work and also descrEdited function doesn't get any signal. //--------------------- Also please allow me to make a comment: It is strange for many application-end-users that every window is a separate task, even a message dialog window. Many of them will be confused. They will call support complaining "I have a frozen window on my screen!!!" if accidentally click on parent window's in task bar. And finally a question, is there a way not to deploy readable code to clients pc's? Regards Minas
