Hmmm.. interesting idea. Looks like it might be a problem with the GtkList()
object. I tried the following to test your idea:
$combo=&New GtkCombo();
$list=$combo->list;
$listofitems=array();
for ($i=0; $i<3000; $i++)
{
$listitem=&New GtkListItem("Item Number $i");
$listofitems[]=$listitem;
}
$list->Append_Items($listofitems);
$win=&New GtkWindow();
$win->Add($combo);
$win->Show_All();
I got identical results. So, it looks like it's a problem with the GTKList()
object. Has anybody got a fix?
