Iavor, IMHO, it is much simpler to create something entirely separated from the main site, and mesh it later on via links and/or syndication/web services, than to develop it on a live reference site with its regular traffic (BTW, what is the order of magnitude of the traffic on gtk.php.net ?) the integrity of which site has to be maintained at all times. You're of course welcome to contribute to the community site: while I'm reimporting the wiki data, new content has already been contributed in addition to it, and new content will probably be more targeted to PHP-GTK2 than the existing contents of the wiki. Hi Frederic, I am far from not welcoming the effort. My personal perspective is that I tried to get into PHP-GTK some time ago and I was stunned by the kind-of-dead gtk.php.net site - and I thought PHP-GTK is dead. I mean - its almost empty. In the apps section there is no single application - and in the latest list activity I found quite a few quite advanced applications. I think a newbie/enthusiast will start somehow from gtk.php.net. I do not know who maintains that site, but in my view a concentrated effort will bring much more - I mean I am, for instance, not a big fan of PEAR, but I think their effort to stay focused has brought good fruits. And PHP-GTK is kind of lagging behind. When people see good apps on central site - may be the whole think will take off in a better manner. That's my personal opinion, though. Iavor
