The PHP-GTK is an extension of php. He's more for PECL.
I think we should have a different layout of the php-gtk website.
Therefore, our work to develop scripts and the layout should start from scratch.
If possible using smarty (http://www.smarty.net/).
So we can develop in php and if necessary the layout change will not interfere with already established code.
