Mori,
I know you'll think I'm inept, but I can't get it to work on Win98 2nd ed.
I've recently got the binary as you did. PHP.EXE will process a file from
the command line. I've had my PWS working with PHP3 in the past on another
machine... so I generally think I know what I'm doing.
But I get a "500 - Internal Server Error" when I attempt to hit a .php
file. I tried a tech tip from the knowledge base which was to remove Perl
and PWS, and now I can't get PWS re-installed because I get a GPF? when
Microshaft's MTS tries to install... AAARGH. All this over the holidays,
so I've gone to Apache for Win32 instead and will get back into the PHP
problems soon.
The PHP 4 stuff really needs some installation support and an easy way for
someone new to PHP to check and see if the stuff works.
Best of luck,
Jaymer...
