Hi. I've already had installed PHP3 on a RedHat system, but recently I've tried to install PHP4 on a Slackware7 Linux. It compiled alright, and I've tried three different options for configuring it, and ALL of them resulted same error. They were: ./configure --with-apxs=[DIR] --with-pgsql --with-mcrypt --with-hash (I also tried without mcrypt) ./configure --with-apxs=[DIR] --with-pgsql --with-hash (and then without anything special) ./configure --with-apxs=[DIR] --with-pgsql ALL of them resulted alright for compiling, but APACHE returns error when executing them. It responds: Cannot load /var/lib/apache/libexec/libphp4.so into server: /var/lib/apache/libexec/libphp4.so: undefined symbol: __dn_skipname. What should I do? Any ideas? I've searched for __dn_skipname on every config file for apache or php, but I hadn't found it! Thank you... Waiting on an answer... Andre Penha Lyon - France penha@stones.com
