Try this to see if it's installed: 'rpm -qa | grep gd' you must have both gd and gd-devel installed, if nothing is listed install gd and retry to build PHP If gd is installed you should provide full path to gd in your configure command line: --with-gd=/full/path/to/gd/ bye
