Hi!
I compiled PHP 4.0.3pl1 and tried to deploy it as a DSO with Apache
1.3.12.
I ran into the following problem when Apache tried to load libphp4.so.
It could not find a definition for "uncompress."
I am guessing this is part of zlib. My system has zlib 1.1.3 installed
in /usr/lib, and I have ensured that /etc/ld.so.conf includes this dir
(even if it is trusted.) I also did a ldconfig after installing zlib.
Any suggestions on how to get libphp4.so to resolve "uncompress?"
Also, is there a way to de-activate this support altogether? I highly
doubt I will need it.
