I have a statement as follow: odbc_exec($conn,"INSERT INTO customer(cus_cd,cus_company) VALUES ('setup','setup')"); When I run the script, it returns an error saying Warning: SQL error: [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]The name 'N' is not permitted in this context. Only constants, expressions, or variables allowed here. Column names are not permitted., SQL state 37000 in SQLExecDirect in D:\... on line 6 That error seems to related to unicode in SQL 2000. However I am using SQL 7.0 server and my ODBC client is the latest version. Any idea how to solve this problem? William Cheung, B.Sc. MCSE MCDBA Databyte Corp.
