Many windows changes (read: in the code and dependencies) are way more important than the build scripts at this stage (really much more important even). That's what I focus on now and what we may all focus on as well. The VC9 switch is also something that needs to be deeply tested as well. The scripts changes can be done anytime later, until the first release candidates. Fixes can be done at anytime too (still patches please). I will post a complete and update our todos and roadmap in the wiki as soon as possible to avoid further confusions and be sure that everyone is in sync.
