So you're suggesting to just pull the trigger and let's just see if we get lucky?
Yes, I see no reason not to port some applications. We started porting Zend Framework which is more
than that which is why we stumbled on a lot of the issues.
Again, I think part of the porting exercise is also figuring out what can be automated. Preferably
we'll have some docs and scripts available for our users with PHP 6 and not just a bunch of
bits with a "good luck" message.
Maybe you guys can try with ezComponents?
