I think there's definitely room for improvement in making mysqli tutorials
more common and accessible, but I don't think that should cause us to delay
deprecation. I do like Lester's idea of forming a task force to
aggressively replace mysql tutorials with mysqli. I'd be happy to help out
with that if there's sufficient interest.
