Hi Adolfo!
It seems to me that the htdig proyect is a bit dead. The last release was on feb '02 and only using the latest cvs I managed to compile it. Don't get me wrong we have used htdig a lot and I really like it, but I think time has cought up with it. Now, I've been looking at the mnogosearch functions and they seem far more flexible and, better yet, they;re built into php. Why has nobody considered using mnogo for php.net? Is it unstable? I think the best of it is that it is not a CGI like htdig.
There was no better time to ask this ;) We would be very happy to switch to mnogo as far as I know. The propblem with it only is that noone had the time and resources to set up a test system, and integrate it into the php site. If anybody would be so kind to donate that effort, and write up some simple setup instructions (something like guys need to configure PHP with mnogo, etc. ;), then we would be happy to support it, absolutely. Rasmus also said he has positive feelings about mnogo, and we had no negative comments on it so far. So if you can help us, please do :) Thanks, Goba
