To make this possible, you should switch back to check all mirror sites (and not just MIRROR_OK), plus we would need a plain text list of mirrors with their last successful check time. Or alternatively, you can also set up the script we use on master.php.net and provide a dump of the check data, so we can check that too hourly. This would not work if your IP gets disabled on the master server though, in which case I have no better idea, but wait for systems people to come up with something better...
Where can I get the script that's used on master.php.net to check if webs are available or not? Regards Anders Olausson - se2.php.net (that isn't listed.. :)
We use this script to check mirrors: http://cvs.php.net/co.php/php-master-web/scripts/mirror-test Goba
