PHP Version: Irrelevant

New Comment:
I think the problem occurs because the file
http://www.php.net/functions.js uses the
document.write() method after
the page has finished loading, but it never calls document.close(). So
the browser just sits there waiting. document.write(), if called after
the document finishes loading, erases the contents of the document and
replaces them, so that's probably not what you want anyway.

I can report it is happening with mozilla, and firefox, as well as IE
in certain places. The IE bug is slightly different but I assume
related, if I try to use the search functionality on the front page, I
am greated with endless script error messages that crash IE. It starts
by simply putting the cursor in the search text box.

I'm pointing duplicates to this bug for the generic "Javascript"
problem, goba, since it's starting to get talked about at the end of
this thread and this bug is already assigned to you.

I'm getting the same problem as mike, it loads then flashes blank on
firefox v 1.0. This is on Firefox v 1.0 on Slackware 10. However, I do
not get this bug if I do us4.php.net, that mirror appears to work fine

I am having the same problem as javawoman with any of the pages beyond
the home of the site loading and then flashing blank (with Firefox
v1.0). I noticed that it has to do with the the javascript file, as
the page rendered correctly if I turn Firefox off.
Thank you

I have problems accessing the sites too using Opera 7.54 / build 3865
on WinXP. Internet Explorer 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158
works fine.
