A few small questions: > - How many times a day should we update the mirror (once a day/2 times a > day/once an hour/etc.)? Every hour. You can copy&paste the "Setup regular updates" line into your crontab (the line generates a random number so you don't have to change it fearing our server will be lagging). > - When we update it using the command on mirroring.php (the regular update > command) is it getting all files again or just the updated files? rsync checks every single file and checks for updates. If the file has been updated since your last sync the file will be patched. Removed files (on the server) will be removed locally and new files (on the server) will be fetched. Files in "your" .cvsignore list (.cvsignore is provided automatically by us) will be skipped. I've registered the mirror with us and it is now pending sanity checks from our mirror-test-bot and will be activated probably within the hour (assuming all checks passed). Our mirror-test-bot runs it checks against all mirrors once an hour and will email you (registered maintainers mail) if it finds any problems (such as bad error handler or outdated content). Feel free to put your company logo into backend/mirror.[gif|jpg|png] to be displayed on http://nl.php.net. Thank you for your support to the project & welcome to the family! -Hannes
