My point was that this seems to defeat the whole point
of having mirrors. You have effectively removed the
redundancy the mirrors provide. I understand that
this is for the purpose of collecting stats. However
it may be a good idea to look into handling this
in another fashion, or providing an alternate link
in the case of the main php.net site being down.
