It should be noted that a page containing only phpinfo() can in some circumstances cause itself to be reloaded thrice. This caused me no end of grief when using a phpinfo page to test my apache logging program (also writen in php) I initially called /test.php?table=test_table&id=2&my_server=10.0.1.4 (note that none of that is real data, I just wanted to make sure that $_REQUEST was getting populated.) then about 30 seconds later, I see /test.php?=PHPE9568F34-D428-11d2-A769-00AA001ACF42 and another 30 seconds after that. /test.php?=PHPE9568F35-D428-11d2-A769-00AA001ACF42 I switched from the phpinfo call to echo "Hello World"; and now it doesnt do that. No idea why, but be aware that it will reload itself. -- James ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.phpinfo.php Edit -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+60539 Delete: added to the manual -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+60539&report=yes&reason=added+to+the+manual Delete: bad code -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+60539&report=yes&reason=bad+code Delete: spam -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+60539&report=yes&reason=spam Delete: useless -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+60539&report=yes&reason=useless Delete: non-english -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+60539&report=yes&reason=non-english Delete: already in docs -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+60539&report=yes&reason=already+in+docs Delete: other reasons -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+60539&report=yes Reject -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+60539&report=yes Search -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
