It should be noted that a page containing only phpinfo() can in some circumstances cause itself to
be reloaded thrice. This caused me no end of grief when using a phpinfo page to test my apache
logging program (also writen in php) I initially called
/test.php?table=test_table&id=2&my_server=10.0.1.4
(note that none of that is real data, I just wanted to make sure that $_REQUEST was getting
populated.)
then about 30 seconds later, I see
/test.php?=PHPE9568F34-D428-11d2-A769-00AA001ACF42
and another 30 seconds after that.
/test.php?=PHPE9568F35-D428-11d2-A769-00AA001ACF42
I switched from the phpinfo call to echo "Hello World"; and now it doesnt do that.
No idea why, but be aware that it will reload itself.
