For XP
Make sure your server is not running
Do not use the installer, unzip it on your C drive into a folder named " php" with all the
contents in it. Make sure php is your top directory (you may have cut and past for step below).
add to your httpd.conf file:
LoadModule php4_module c:/php/sapi/php4apache2.dll
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
Then copy php4ts.dll and php4apache2.dll in your <%windir%>/system32 and c:/php directories.
This works smooth.
Don't forget to manually add your paths to "extension_dir" and "doc_root"
...
