Hi,
after a lot of request I have decided to commit the
modules for XML Databases to the CVS of PEAR.
I have a few questions resp. need a few OKs of some ppl
to do that.
There are two modules with some additional files.
Modules for Xindice and Tamino.
1) where should the modules go? My preference is
XDB_Tamino
XDB_Xindice
which both result to the pear dir XDB for XML Databases.
Being DBs they are still do not belong to the DB dir.
Being XML DBs they don't do XML stuff in a way they should
belong to the XML dir.
...this is though my idea about this.
And there are a few other XML DBs which might be supportet
and maybe one day me or someone else writes kind of an
abstraction
2) Xindice will follow soon, Tamino is still very alpha
and needs a little bit time
3) everything is finely documented via PHPDoc - talking to
Alexander Merz at the conference I will add the docu auto
generated with a tool written by Alexander to the doc of
pear.
happy answering and thanks in advance for your answers
and ideas
