Vi, more exactly VIM/GVIM. It has keyword completion from the current file, all
opened files, from a dictionary file, from a thesaurus, from included files or
using a tag file. I use also ctags (contributed some kludge for PHP suport in
the exhuberant ctags program) to keep track of the symbols defined, etc.
And it is easy to setup your VIM to run any random program/script using they
quickfix system. That way you just press the key combination, vim runs your
code w/ the stand alone PHP executable, and shows you the errors.
Go to www.vim.org, there is more info and some addons for using it w/ PHP, XML,
etc. apart from the ones that come w/ the distribution.
